This week's theme at Illustration Friday is "invention." When I was at my mom's for Thanksgiving, I saw a picture of me and my mom when I was a toddler. The next thing I knew, I heard "Necessity is the mother of invention." So now you've met invention and his mom!
Very cute and clever! How'd you get that interesting texture in the background? With all the weird names being given kids nowadays, I bet there is a Necessity and an Invention somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jana. I used a texture generator in Adobe Illustrator. I wanted something that looked like the generic photo backgrounds in studio photos. The effect is texturizer/sandstone.
