When you live in Indiana, racing takes all your attention in May. Cars are a natural fit for this week's theme.It's fun to see boys get all excited when they race cars. They can think up some original tracks. They combine racing with a theme park ride to make the ultimate car experience.

okay that does it! I'm supposed to be drawing an interactive rug for HOT WHEELS and I'm prograstinating. This is the second illustration that is reminding me that I should be working and not surfing! That is such a fun piece! I LOVE it! You even included a car in the window! That kid in front just makes me laugh! He's so hyper and excited!
oh i LOVE that crazy yellow tee/sandal kid! :)) he says it all. this has a "playdoh" kind of feel too...the curtains, the way they are modeled, the subtle dshadow on the curtains - is that what i'm seeing? that's a really neat approach. makes it come to life. :)
