Cartoon: Bed and Breakfast

Cartoon of man at a bed and breakfast. Man says to caretaker, “I’m not interested in a Bed and Breakfast. Would you have a Lunch and Lounge Package?”

This is a classic cartoon I did back in 1996 for the sixth edition of the "New Rider's Internet Yellow Pages."

I've had some nice experiences with bed and breakfast establishments. Still, I've often wondered how long it would take to wear out my welcome. I'm guessing they would kick me out when the check didn't clear.

Cartoon: Nightmares in Flight

Cartoon of two men boarding a jet plane. One says, “We can’t take this flight, Earl! She was voted the worst flight attendant of all time at travelnightmares.com!”

This is a classic cartoon I did back in 1996 for the sixth edition of the "New Rider's Internet Yellow Pages."

It's good to know some of the issues we had thirteen years ago are still around. Airline service can be nonexistent. Still, I wonder if the flight attendants are just as much of a victim when they have to wait six hours on the tarmac like everyone else.

Cartoon: Bring your papers

Cartoon of dog in airport. Guard says, “I’m sorry, sir! But even if you are a mongrel, I must see your papers.”

This is a classic cartoon I did back in 1996 for the sixth edition of the "New Rider's Internet Yellow Pages."

Security is much more advanced (hopefully) since I penned this cartoon. At least the equipment looks more like something out of Star Trek. I wish they worked like the transporter instead of just beeping angrily at me when I leave my cell phone on my person!
