Weather can sure seem flawed. One day, it can be blizzard conditions. The next day, people are wearing shorts and flip-flops.

Ice Baby! The poor duck is stuck in the ice. I can't imagine how this poor guy feels. Whenever I drive by a park and see those ducks in a pond, it makes me wonder if something like this has ever happened.

I drew this in Adobe Illustrator.

Spear Sketchbook 0901, Page 81

There is something about January that brings out the grump in people. If the weather has been bad, it's a catalyst to the whole thing.

Then again, I start to wonder if I am the catalyst. Nobody likes someone who's in a good mood if they're in a bad one. I just may be too annoying to some.

I drew this in my sketchbook. I used a Pilot Pecise pen and Prismacolor pencils.

Illustration Friday-Contained

Illustration Friday-Contained, originally uploaded by speartoons.

The word "contained" reminded me of teen angst. It's an age where things may be contained one minute, and out of control the next.

I drew this in Adobe Illustrator.
